Company Profile

Lac Mercier is the head waters of the world famous Kenamu River system in Labrador. It is renowned as not only a trophy brook trout water but contains northern pike which are taken on the fly in excess of 20 pounds. It is also unique in that it is the only watershed on the southern side of the Churchill River to contain lake trout. Lac Mercier is located 30 miles southwest of Goose Bay and is approximately 30 miles north of the Minipi system and 40 miles west of the Eagle system. . The lodge itself can accommodate only 6 anglers and its season runs from the 1st June - 15th September. Fishing is fly-fishing only by single barbless hooks and we operate a catch and release lodge.
